What is Medi Drop?

Medi Drop is a program that offers a safe place for the public to dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medication.

Through a partnership with the Cornwall Community Police Service and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, three Medi Drop boxes have been placed throughout the City of Cornwall. The boxes are available for the safe and anonymous public disposal of medication.

Medi Drop is celebrating its 10th year of operation in 2022. Since its launch in 2012, thousands of pounds of medications have been collected and disposed of safely.

Please note that all pharmacies can also safely dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications.
